WHEN CAN I VISIT YOUR OFFICES?

We will be pleased to see you during the following days/times:

Monday-Thurs. 8am to 5.30pm. We have a late night on Weds. until 7pm and on Friday's we close at 5pm.

WHAT SHALL I BRING WITH ME TO REGISTER?

Please bring for registration:

A copy of your latest C.V. and also your passport. If either of these is a problem, please give us a call. You will also need the name and full address of two people who are willing to act as referees. Please also come appropriately and smartly dressed, we often get asked by our clients about the appearance of applicants.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME FOR WHAT YOU DO?

Nothing at all. Candidates are not charged for our services.

WHEN WILL YOU CONTACT ME AFTER I HAVE SENT YOU MY DETAILS?

Within 48 hours we will have written to you regarding your application. After that, we will make contact with you again by telephone.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MY C.V.SHOULD BE SET OUT

First thing, no waffling on!

Always make your document clear and concise, well set out with good spacing, clear type and, of course, check for any mistakes that you may have made.

What will also be very important is that you state your present salary details, which area you would be willing to work in and what your current employer actually does if you feel prospective employers will not know.

I AM NOT A BRITISH CITIZEN - WHAT RESTRICTIONS ARE THERE?

As a general rule you will find that employers looking to recruit people on a permanent basis will not accept a 2 years visitor's visa. Please consult one of our consultants about your specific circumstances.

DO YOU KEEP MY DETAILS CONFIDENTIAL?

Absolutely. Host will NEVER give your details to anybody unless we have YOUR express permission.

WHEN I REGISTER WITH YOU, WILL I HAVE TO SIT AN EXAM OR TEST?

We will assess your computer skills at registration so that we can be confident we are matching you to an appropriate vacancy. Don't worry, registration will only take an hour or so and remember, we are here to help!

CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT WHAT SORT OF EMPLOYERS USE YOUR SERVICES?

Our specialised service works for Sales, Customer Service, Industrial, Office and Call Centre Staff areas. Many types of companies have, and are working in conjunction with us for their recruitment needs including small, independent businesses right through to blue chip companies.

WILL IT TAKE LONG TO GET A PLACEMENT?

It is our goal to make sure that you get the right job in the shortest possible time. There are a lot of factors that can affect this such as where you want to work, salary and the company itself. We will give you our full attention and make sure you get the position you need as quickly as possible.

HOW WILL I BE PAID?

We transfer your pay directly into your account. Of course, we will need your bank or building society details first and then we can pay directly into that account by BACS.

The schedule is as follows:

1. We need to receive your completed timesheet by 11am on the Monday after the week you have worked

2. Your payslip is sent to you on the Wednesday

3. By the Friday following the week worked the pay will be in your account

All temps have an entitlement to four weeks annual holiday pay and you will receive pay the week after your holiday, this is based on pay periods previously.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR HOLIDAYS?

You can obtain holiday request forms from the office.

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO TRAIN ME?

You may need your skills sharpening, for this we can offer short courses. On the other hand, your current computer skills may require that you need a full training course but, rest assured, we can fit this around your commitments and schedule taking up either full days or just a few hours at a time.

I WOULD PREFER YOU NOT TO CALL ME AT MY PRESENT WORK, CAN YOU CONTACT ME ANOTHER WAY?

These days we much prefer to send you a text or e-mail. We would only contact you at work if you have given your permission for this beforehand and even then we will do everything we can to keep things confidential and discrete.

WILL YOU HELP ME TO PREPARE BEFOREHAND FOR THE INTERVIEWS?

Of course. Your consultant will tell you all you need to know about the company, what it expects and where it is, so that you are adequately prepared for the job you are applying for.

I AM STILL A STUDENT, WHAT ABOUT TAX?

If you have completed and returned to the offices here a Student Declaration Form the answer is NO!
